A Note from the Journalism Team
Yet another year has passed, another year filled with events and activities around the school, from the exciting National Day celebrations with a twist to a memorable first for the Founder’s Day Dinner Celebrations in the school. It has been a fruitful year with a milestone event which has once again re-affirmed the good work of the school. With the renewal of Fairfield Methodist Secondary School’s Autonomous Status, we count our blessings while we continue to reflect upon the work that we have done in the course of the year. We have an addition to the Fairfield family as we have been blessed in Term 4 with another Vice Principal, Mr Victor Owyong Tuck Sing. Welcome to the Fairfield family!
2007 is an unforgettable year and it is hard to imagine that another year has passed. How time flies! While some of us may rejoice over our End-of-Year Examination results, others may take stock of their work seriously and strive to better themselves. One thing for sure, all of us are looking forward to our long and well deserved holidays, a time to kick back and relax.
We are pleased to announce that our Fairsian Times has a lovely contents page that features snippets of and pictures of interesting reads. As journalists, our mission is to keep you well informed of what has been happening in our school. This we hope, will keep our readers (you), engaged. Our journalists have indeed invested extensive effort into putting the Fairsian Times together.
While we wrap up this exciting year with reflections and recollections of various events as we celebrate our achievements, the team would like to wish you a wonderful end-of-year holiday, Merry Christmas and a Happy 2008!
